It is very important for you to inform the practitioner of any health problems or medications you are taking. Some medical conditions are contraindicated for massage therefore you should always inform your practitioner of all medical conditions prior to your session. If you are under a doctor's care, you will be required to have written approval for massage from your doctor.

Our Massage Spaces will be properly cleaned and sanitized before the client arrives for their session. If you have been sick, had a fever, or had any cold/flu/covid type symptoms, or you have been around anyone that has been sick, Please reschedule your session for a later date.

Your bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played, and there may be a trickling fountain, and nature sounds in the background. You will lie on a table specifically designed for your comfort.

Your massage session will be performed by a professional, who has received the proper training in a variety of massage techniques. The Board Certified Massage Therapist will structure your session to meet your personal massage needs.

Most Bodywork sessions are performed with the client wearing just their undergarments, however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your comfort. You will be covered at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.

You and the practitioner will discuss the desired outcome of your massage session. This will determine what type of massage protocol will be used and which body parts will need massaged. A typical full body session will include work on your back, arms, legs feet, hands, head, neck, and shoulders. You will not be touched on or near your private areas. The average full body massage will last approximately one hour. A half-hour appointment only allows time for a partial massage, such as Neck and shoulders, back, or legs and feet. For optimal relaxation, many people prefer 60 or 90 minute sessions. We also offer Two Hour sessions for those who feel they need the more time.

To get the most out of your massage, allow yourself time prior to and after the session to relax. During the session, close your eyes and relax. The practitioner will either move you or tell you when you need to move during your session.

After the bodywork session, most people feel very relaxed. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, some people will experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity, which could last for days. It is recommended you drink plenty of water afterward.
